welcome.

The University of Nebraska at Omaha’s Aviation Institute will now be offering area pilots the opportunity to obtain ground instruction and pilot refresher seminars. The Institute is committed to keeping pilots current on their training and at the same time stressing the importance of pilot safety. Classes will be held on campus and FAA approved materials will be used for the coursework.

The non-credit ground school course will satisfy the ground instruction requirements for private pilot, recreational pilot and sport pilot ratings. The course also allows existing pilots to have refresher training on important safety factors. It will be a 11 week cycle with the opportunity to join at various times and continuing until all topics are covered.

The class will be offered on Saturday mornings from 8:00 a.m. until noon. The next session, Private Pilot Ground School will begin September 16, 2006. Classes will be filling up quickly so it is imperative that you express your interest to the Institute as soon as possible. For more information, or to register please call the Aviation Institute at (402) 554-3424.
